Webex Events is Cisco’s event management platform for in-person, hybrid and virtual events, formerly sold as Socio. It sits in the Webex Suite alongside Webex Webinars, which Cisco positions for webinars, and Slido for polling and Q&A.

- Branded registration and ticketing, with multiple ticket types, prices, groups and discount codes, and instant payouts.
- A customisable mobile event app for attendees on site or remote.
- On-site check-in and badge printing, session check-in and live display.
- Lead retrieval for sponsors and exhibitors, who scan attendees’ QR codes to capture leads with enriched data.

Cisco says Webex Events handles events from internal meetings to conferences of up to 100,000 attendees, and names enterprises, associations and government among its users.
Pricing and availability
Cisco does not publish prices for Webex Events; organisers request pricing through its sales team. Its FAQ says Webex Events is included in some Webex Suite Enterprise Agreement plans, so existing Cisco customers should check their agreement first.
